1969     The company was first established operating under the name "Tong Shiang Rubber Chemical Industrial Company" located in Taipei suburb of Wu-Ku with a capital of US$500,000; the factory utilized a floor space of 36,000sq. meters, and its main products were all kinds of rubber balls at a production capacity of 500 pcs/day.
1971     Entered into a technical liaison with IRUMA, Japan (IRUMAGAMA RUBBER CO.) to upgrade the quality of company's products.
1973     From Japan, the company imported a new system of winding machines and a system of new bladder forming machine; these acquisitions enabled the company to speed up the bladder-making process and improve more accurately the quality of windings.
1976     The company's name had been changed to its present name-CONTINENTAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES CO., LTD with capital increased to US$1,000,000; production cap. also increased to 2,500 pcs/day.
